How to Archive a Business Unit Card (BUC)

You can remove a Business Unit Card (BUC) from your  Business Unit (BU) list (My Contacts), by archiving it. Once archived, the BUC will no longer be available for transactions and cannot be selected as a recipient or as a party on an eBL for your BU. Each BU can achieve its BUCs. However, only the Account Admin can archive a BUC for the entire account, affecting all BUs within the organization.

Note: Any user with “Edit my contacts” permission can archive for the BU.

To achieve, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Network on the left sidebar and select My Contacts (previously Address Book).
  2. Locate the BUC you want to archive.
  3. Click the three dots (⋮) on the top right of the BUC card.
  4. Select Archive to complete the process.

The Account Admin can also archive for the account, as follows:
