In this article, you will see all the different possession statuses regarding original electronic documents.
Possessor (Inbox)
Possessor means that you hold possession of the original Electronic Bill Of Lading.
Losing Possession (Inbox)
Losing Possession means that once you send possession of the original to another party, you are losing possession of the original eBL. If you try to send possession again, you will only see the option to send as a copy since the original is already on its way to the next party.
Sending Possession (Sending)
Sending Possession relates to losing possession. Once you click send in the envelope, you are sending possession of the original to another party.
Sent Possession (Sent)
Once the envelope goes from your outbox to your sent folder and you see sent possession, it means the possession of the original eBL is at the recipient you sent the envelope to.
Previous Possessor (Inbox)
Previous Possessor means that when the possession of the eBL reaches the recipient to whom you sent the envelope, you will become the previous possessor. You can only now hold the copy of the eBL.
Receiving Possession (Inbox)
Receiving Possession means that you are in the process of becoming the possessor of the original eBL. You can't take any actions besides sending a copy.
Surrender Accomplished (Inbox)
After surrendering to the carrier at the POD, you'll receive an envelope confirming the accomplished surrender. The status initially shifts to Accepting in" and updates to Copy within a few minutes.
This signifies that the carrier is now the Final Possessor of the eBL

Amendment Accepted (Inbox)
If you request an amendment from the carrier POL, they will need to accept the amendment to issue a new eBL. You must receive a copy from the carrier stating the amendment was accepted.
The status initially shifts to Accepting In and updates to Copy within a few minutes.
Waiting to be Claimed (Inbox, Unclaimed)
Waiting to be Claimed means that you have invited the Single Document User (SDU) Consignee to claim the eBL. You are still the possessor and can withdraw the invitation.
eBL Copy (Inbox)
A white eBL chip means that you have received a copy of the eBL, not the original eBL.
