In this article, you will learn more about the Lobby page.

The Lobby Page of the WaveBL platform offers various features to manage and maintain your eBLs.

The lobby page is divided into three main areas:

  • Title - Displays your username details.
  • Main area - Lists the business units associated with your user and WaveBL platform news
  • Left Sidebar - The operations menu

Part 1 - The Title Area

This area displays the name of the user currently logged into the system.

On the left side, your name is displayed, and on the right side, you can see your account name on the WaveBL platform.

Part 2 - The Main Area

This area provides general information about the WaveBL platform on new features and the live chat option..

This area has two parts:

  • Business Units - Lists all the business units you are currently assigned to. You can search for a specific business unit in the search window above the list.
  • News - Details the updates, enhancements, and news in the WaveBL platform.
  • Live Chat - Click on the icon on the bottom right to start a chat conversation with the WaveBL support team.

Part 3 - Left Sidebar

This area provides all the operations. Manage the eBL envelopes and the platform’s users and access rights, customize the interface, and access WaveBL online help and the Knowledge Base.

The sidebar can be minimized by clicking the green arrow on the top, but it remains visible.

This area has four parts:

  1. User Information - Displays your email address and the business unit you are currently assigned to. Click your username to switch to another business unit.  You can also assign your default business unit and star favorite business units to appear at the top of the list.
  2. Operations Menu - 
    • Envelopes - Lists all eBLs’ envelopes of your business unit, in folders according to their status.
    • Network - Manages your connected business partners and displays their business cards.
    • Shipments - Manage your shipments
    • Reports - Provide details on your eBLs
    • Settings - Set your WaveBL app
  3. System Settings:
    • Language - Set language, English, Spanish, or Chinese. Click on the language to change the language from the dropdown list.
    • Help - Assist you with questions on various operations, access the Knowledge base, or open a support ticket, from a popup window that opens on the right.
    • Log Out - To log out of the WaveBL platform.
  4. Knowledge Base  - Link to WaveBL knowledge base.

Note: Clicking on the WaveBL logo will always return you to the Lobby page.

The operation menu

Envelopes - eBLs Management

You can create an envelope for a new eBL, and manage eBLs and their related documents within your business unit. The eBLs are grouped in six folders according to their status:

  • Inbox – All received envelopes.
  • Sending – Envelopes in progress, still being sent. (When you send an eBL, it first appears here. Once processing is complete, it moves to the Sent folder.)
  • Sent – All successfully sent eBLs.
  • Unclaimed – eBLs sent to a non-onboarded consignee that haven't been claimed yet. (You can withdraw an unclaimed eBL.)
  • Drafts – Envelopes saved as drafts.
  • Archived – Envelopes cannot be deleted, but you can archive them to keep your inbox organized. (You can also unarchive them if needed.)

Network - Manage Your Business Partners contacts

You can view your contacts list of all your business partners and their details, and manage your list, by one of the following options:

  • Connect with Carriers using Issuers Connections
  • Connect with your business partners using Global Contacts
  • Send, accept, and manage invitations, and connect with your business partners 

Shipments - Manage Your Shipments

You can view a list of your shipments or add new shipment details to your list.

Reports - View your eBL transactions and system activities

Get insights into your eBL transactions and system activities. Use filtering options to customize and refine your reports. The following reports are available:

  • Paid eBLs - Lists all eBLs sent as paid, including relevant details. 
  • Possessors - Lists all eBLs in your account's possession, including the number of possession days..
  • Sent eBLs - Lists all eBLs you have sent, regardless of payment status.
  • Use System Activity - Tracks account activity, including user settings and actions.

Settings - Set your Company Environment 

You can define your company’s settings on the WaveBL platform. The following settings are available:

  • Plans & Pricing
  • Companies
  • Business Units
  • Users
