Managing Account Companies

About Companies 

The accounts in WaveBL platform are managed in three levels: The account level, the company level, and the business units within each company. The users are allocated to a business unit and granted access accordingly, as in the following figure:

After creating an Account, a Company is associated with it, and its Business Units (BUs). This hierarchical structure is essential to manage and maintain business units (BUs) to legally registered entities.

Admin accounts can use the Settings menu to add Companies to the Account and BUs to each Company. Each Company represents a legal entity and has an identification number according to the regulations of its registered country.

How to Add a New Company

  1. Go to Settings on the left sidebar and select Companies.
  2. Click Add Company in the top right corner.

  3. The Add Company drawer will open on the right.
  4. Enter the company details:
    • Company ID: Enter the official company registration number.
    • Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) (if applicable): A 20-character reference code uniquely identifies legally distinct entities engaged in financial transactions.
  5. Click Add Company to save the details.

  1. A green message, saying ‘Company successfully created’ will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Edit Company Details

  1. Go to Settings on the left sidebar and select Companies.
  2. Click the three-dot menu () in the last column of the relevant Company.
  3. Select Edit and update the necessary details.

Delete a Company

A Company can only be deleted if no Business Units are associated with it.

  1. Click the three-dot menu () in the last column of the Companies page.
  2. Select Delete, then confirm the deletion.
